 Taking the People Mover is one of our favourite things when visiting Detroit. It only costs.75 to ride and takes us to several of Detroit's key sites, including the GM Renaissance Centre, Joe Louis Arena, the former home of the Detroit Red Wings, and Downtown. It's a terrific method to gain a sense of the terrain. Renting a bike is another excellent method to travel around Detroit.

 2. Motown Museum

Motown was born in Detroit, and if you want to see the best piece of Motown history, go to the Motown Museum. This is one of the most enjoyable activities in Detroit, Michigan. The museum is in two houses, one belonging to an old inhabitant who established the first Motown recording studio. But, once inside, you can sense the excitement of seeing where legendary Motown artists such as Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 got their start.

 3. The Henry Ford Museum

 
You can only visit Detroit by seeing the Henry Ford Museum. This is where Henry Ford, a Detroit resident, founded the legendary Ford Motor Company, and when you visit, you'll get a sense of how Ford made it happen. You will also have the opportunity to view the outstanding artefacts that illustrate Henry Ford's vision and life. Greenfield Village is outside of the Henry Ford Museum and is one of the must-see attractions in Detroit.

4. Henry Ford Rouge Factory Tour

Take a tour of the Henry Ford Rouge Factory to complement your visit to the Henry Ford Museum. The Ford River Rouge Complex features attractions provided by the Ford Motor Company. It holds the factory and machinery that have kept the world's largest carmaker functioning for decades. As a visitor, you should go to the Ford Rouge Factory Centre, which houses six Ford factories. 

 5. Detroit Riverfront

 For a good reason, it has been the best riverfront walk in the United States. Aside from the spectacular views, there are many activities available. Walking is obvious, but you may ride a boat down the riverbank. These parks provide green spaces for strolling, jogging, picnics, and admiring the views of the lake. There are also many cycling and walking lanes that run along the riverbank, offering access to various attractions.
